Un survivant du grand verglas de 1998, une des plus grande catastrophe naturelle à avoir frappé le Québec. Une grande majorité des arbres de ma région furent alors completement ébranchés.
Voici un très bon dossier de Gilles Daigneault sur cet événement historique.
Demain, je vous montrerai une photo du mont Yamaska qui avait été complètement ravagé par cette tempête car pour la majorité des arbres s'y trouvant, il ne restait que les troncs. Vous pourrez voir comment la nature aura réussit en 10 ans à effacer les cicatrices.
A survivor of the 1998 great ice storm. One of the most important natural catastrophy that ever hit the province of Quebec. Most of trees in my region were greatly damaged.

Tomorrow, i will show you a picture of Mt Yamaska, which was comptelely devastated by this storm 10 years ago. A sight where you could see only tree trunks. You wiil see how the nature was able to heal itself in 10 years.
